Status

What actually works right now

Each state below is derived from the running configuration and from whether a real invocation has succeeded in this deployment. No user numbers or impact figures are claimed.

Capability table
CapabilityStateDetail
Curated source navigator (rules-based, no AI)
live
Runs entirely in the browser from the reviewed source registry.
Source library and browsing
live
24 allowlisted passages across 12 topic families, all listed on the source library page with their verification state. No sign-in required.
AI engine on /ask
unavailable
Not usable yet: at least one prerequisite is missing, so no question is sent to the AI provider. Outstanding reason codes: unknown.
Persistent request ceiling and circuit breaker
configured
The counter and idempotency keys live in the database, so the cap survives deployments. Without that store the engine fails closed.
Configurable request limits
unavailable
No positive request ceiling is configured, so the engine fails closed.
Human verification before every AI request
unavailable
Not configured, so no question is sent to the AI provider. There is no test key, no cached clearance and no browser-only checkbox substitute.
Case library records
unavailable
Empty until genuine reviewed records exist. No sample or illustrative cases.
Contribution queue and moderation
unavailable
The form, validation and server boundary exist; storage and moderation report unavailable until the backend write credentials are in place.
Open API access request intake and review
unavailable
Not usable yet, so nothing can be stored and no request is queued locally. Outstanding reason codes: unknown.
Source correction reports
unavailable
Validated on the server and honestly reported as not recorded until the backend write credentials are in place.

These three words describe the AI engine and its dependencies only, not the curated navigator or the static source library. "live" means a successful real AI invocation has happened in this deployment. "configured" means credentials and limits are in place but no successful invocation has been recorded. "unavailable" means unavailable — nothing is substituted for it.

Corpus coverage

24 allowlisted passages: 12 with wording read into the corpus, 12 recorded by instrument, section and canonical URL only. URLs last checked 2026-09-06.

Section text for the Residential Tenancies Act 1995 (SA) and the Housing Improvement Regulations 2017 (SA) is cited by instrument, section number, heading and canonical authorised-version URL. Where the section text has not been read into this corpus, the passage carries no day counts or quoted obligations — read the authorised instrument before deciding anything. Some reviewed government and tribunal pages are recorded as reference URLs only, because the publisher blocked automated retrieval; those entries summarise nothing from the page itself.

Scope of this project

This is a public South Australian tenancy information tool. It holds no client records, no property data and no private HOSO Sentinel data, and it is not connected to any agency system, mailbox, drive or property platform.

Service availability and content coverage are shown above. Check the official sources before acting. No release date, user count or outcome figure is claimed anywhere in this project.

Request limits above bound how many AI requests this app will make per window and per visitor bucket, enforced atomically in this app's own database together with a kill switch and a circuit breaker. They are limits on requests, not a billing cap set at the provider, and they do not cap cloud infrastructure charges or any other project. No automatic top-up or purchase is configured here.
