This page describes intent and method for the South Australian tenancy information workspace.
Tenancy questions arrive as narratives, not as structured facts. The first response usually has to establish what happened, when it was reported, what records exist and who has already been involved.
This workspace does that first step consistently: it restates what it understood, names the facts still missing, and links every general next step to an official South Australian publication.
Browsing the sources and asking a question are public and free, with no account. Contributing a practice case or a source correction is different: it requires a signed-in, role-checked account. What is controlled is the reviewed source set, not the audience.
Only official South Australian government, tribunal and legislation publications are cited, each with a recorded URL, a check date and an honest verification state — some entries have their wording read into the corpus, others record the instrument, section and canonical link only.
No usage figures, testimonials, endorsements or impact results are claimed.
The home navigator deliberately uses curated local rules with no generative model, and no question content is attached to any analytics of ours. The separate Ask workspace uses an external AI provider through a server boundary, and a database holds request limits and the private contribution queue.
Source review ownership, legal scope review and accessibility review are treated as prerequisites to any automated expansion.
The workspace consumes a versioned LegalKnowledgeService contract (v1) with schema validation, so reviewed public legal content could later be reused by another consumer.
The Ask workspace calls a server endpoint that may only cite allowlisted corpus passages, and every citation is validated before anything is shown. Provider credentials stay on the server, there is no public editor for the legal corpus, and contribution storage and moderation stay behind role checks.
This public tool has no access to private HOSO Sentinel records, email, drives, property management platforms, telephone services or client data, and no cross-project data access exists.
